russian conscripts should not be allowed into other countries, they should become destabilization factor inside their country — experts

Оlexander Khara, Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Expert at Centre for Defence Strategies, Diplomat, Advisor to the Defense Minister of Ukraine (2020) expressed this opinion at Media Center Ukraine — Ukrinform.

“The Baltic countries did an extremely smart thing when they stopped letting russians, who are subject to mobilization, into their territory. Finland has also restricted access. Because, first of all, this is a threat to their national security. But the russians should not be allowed into the territory of other countries, also because they can become a destabilizing factor inside the country,” — he said.

The expert explained that the events that are taking place in russia, such as evasion from mobilization, shooting of the military commissar, self-immolation, all destabilize the situation in the aggressor country from within, but they are unlikely to be a motivation for mass protests. In addition, the successful operation in Kharkiv region finally killed the russians’ illusions of any success on the battlefield.
