Maria Mezentseva, Member of the Verkhovna Rada, Head of the Permanent Delegation of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, who takes part in the World Economic Forum in Davos now, made this statement during the briefing at the Media Center Ukraine — Ukrinform.

“According to UN statistics, russian inhuman aggression against Ukraine has caused losses and affected the lives of citizens of more than 90 countries around the world, and 1.7 billion of the world population. It also refers to topics that were discussed on the sidelines of the Summit, in the scope of food and energy system security, and changes in power supply. For example, we know how our German partners managed to reduce their dependence on russian gas from more than 40% to less than 10%. This means that such changes are possible. Moreover, they can be made in a short time. And such decisions should be made, among other things, in support of Ukraine,” Maria Mezentseva said.
