Resistance movement persists in Luhansk region despite mortal danger: collaborators’ cars and railway tracks get blown up, occupiers’ headquarters are set on fire — Head of Luhansk Oblast Military Administration
Despite the mortal danger, the partisans continue to resist in the temporarily occupied territory of Luhansk region. Serhii Haidai, Head of Luhansk Oblast Military Administration made this statement at a briefing at Media Center Ukraine — Ukrinform.
“I believe that the resistance movement is efficient and proactive. Some say that it is easy to put up leaflets about collaborators, conscription, or about the pseudo-referendum… But all this is deadly dangerous. If a person is caught, they will face a huge problem, if not the death penalty. In the best case scenario, the person will be exchanged. We saw cars with collaborators blown up somehow. We saw a video of someone setting fire to the headquarters of the occupiers. We saw railway tracks blown up, we recorded the burning of switchboards on the railway track, which disrupted logistics on the railway for up to a week. The resistance movement works. It is quite active and successful. People really help us in the fight against the occupiers,” — Haidai said.
