Rotating power cuts will continue to occur in Sumy region, invaders destroyed 10 energy infrastructure facilities

The morning in the Sumy region began with shelling on the Myropil community. There was no electricity supply here yesterday, but as far as yesterday electricity was restored. The border settlements of Bilopillia and Seredyna-Buda communities were also caught by russian fire.

Dmytro Zhyvytskyi, Head of Sumy Regional Military Administration, made this statement in Media Center Ukraine — Ukrinform

“Currently, about 10 energy infrastructure facilities of the region are seriously damaged or destroyed, so rotating power cuts occur in the region. We had to turn off the street lights. Until stable electrical connection is restored, it will have to be abandoned,” he said.

Dmytro Zhyvytskyi pointed out that it is not yet possible to draw up a power cuts schedule, because electricity comes from different sources, from other regions.

However, first of all, hospitals and water supply facilities were provided with electric power.
