Rivne region’s housing and utility system is ready for the heating season – Vitaliy Koval

The Rivne region has completed 100% of the preparatory work, and the housing and utility system is ready for the start of heating season.

Vitaliy Koval, Head of Rivne Oblast Military Administration made this announcement during a briefing at the Media Center Ukraine – Ukrinform. 

“The social and utilities sector is ready for the start of the heating season. In terms of numbers, the heating sector serves 939 facilities, and 3217 residential buildings in the housing stock. 60% of all social facilities are equipped with generators, and this figure is increasing every day. We understand that generators and energy storage will be relevant in the fall and winter. That is why we are preparing,” he emphasized.
