Pyrotechnics demined about 40 thousand hectares of right-bank Kherson region – military administration

34 thousand of them are agricultural land. This was stated by Oleksandr Tolokonnikov, Head of the Internal and Information Policy Department of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, at a briefing at the Media Center Ukraine – Odesa.

“Pyrotechnics have already cleared 40 thousand hectares, 34 of which are agricultural land. In total, we have conditionally safe and suitable for sowing 150 thousand hectares. People are already sowing the land, planting vegetables, grains, and sunflower,” –  Tolokonnikov said.

He added that about 1,000 hectares of land is for melons and gourds.
