“Over the Last Day, 7 Civilians Were Killed and 10 Injured in Donetsk Oblast,” Kyrylenko

The situation in Donetsk Oblast over the last 24 hours was extremely tense. The cities of Bakhmut, Soledar, and Slovyansk are constantly shelled with missiles or artillery. Lyman and Izium axes are the main directions where the foe is trying to move forward.

Pavlo Kyrylenko, Head of Donetsk Oblast Military Administration, spoke about this during his briefing at Media Center Ukraine — Ukrinform.

“Over the last day, 7 people were killed in the oblast, and 10 got wounds of various severity. Currently, about 340,000 peaceful civilians still stay in the territory of Donetsk Oblast under Ukrainian control,” he said.

Pavlo Kyrylenko highlighted that the process of delivering goods and humanitarian aid to the civilians is currently under control despite all difficulties. It also applies to medicines, which are essential for many people.

“We still have the problem with power and water supply. Despite our repair crews working every day, russians keep cynically destroying the infrastructure to leave people without water and electricity. The northern part of the oblast has no water supply at all. We are trying to use the damaged system to at least supply some water to the people,” the Head of Donetsk Oblast Military Administration emphasized.
