Over 80% of Kherson houses already have heating

Currently, 769 houses in Kherson region already have heating.

Oleksandr Tolokonnikov, Spokesman for the Kherson Oblast Military Administration, made this statement during a briefing at Media Center Ukraine – Ukrinform.

“Now more than 80% of homes have heating, and heating plants continue increasing capacity. Currently, 769 houses out of 1071 have heating. The work continues, despite the fact that constant shelling is very damaging to the system. If there is an attack, then utility and various services have to release the pressure in order to keep the system safe. All the same, we are increasing the pace, so it will be warm in the homes of the people of Kherson,” he said.

According to Oleksandr Tolokonnikov, settlements without gas supply, as well as coastal areas, will be provided with firewood, which is currently supplied to 14,500 households, thanks in particular to Ukraine’s international partners and foreign benefactors. International organizations have promised to help with the issue of paying for firewood for another 7,500 households.
