Over 25,000 legal entities among Ukrainian businesses have ties with russia and belarus – Serhii Milman

The team of analysts at YouControl service identified more than 25,000 legal entities among Ukrainian businesses that have connections with the russian federation and belarus.

Serhii Milman, Founder and CEO of YouControl, made this statement during a briefing at Media Center Ukraine – Ukrinform.

“Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, we have reoriented ourselves to constantly look for russian traces in Ukrainian businesses. So far, YouControl analysts have found more than 25,000 legal entities that have connections with the russian federation and the republic of belarus,” he noted.

Serhii Milman also spoke about the main risk factors that are reflected in the system.

“The main risk factors are when the beneficiary, owner, participant of a legal entity is a citizen of the russian federation or belarus, or has connections with financial and industrial groups of the russian federation. Or even a cliched risk factor, when the name of the company contains the name of the aggressor country,” he explained.

Serhii Milman noted that the system reflects the risks of companies having ties with countries that do not vote for Ukraine in the UN General Assembly.

“In addition, the system reflects the risks of having ties with unfriendly countries that vote against Ukraine in the UN General Assembly. In particular, these are China, North Korea, Syria, Nicaragua, Cuba, etc.”
