Odesa’s authorities to reimburse costs of prosthetics services – up to 2 million UAH for the military

This program was launched only this year, and so far no one has applied for assistance. Olena Kitayska, Director of the Department of Labor and Social Policy of the Odesa City Council, told this at a briefing at the Media Center Ukraine – Odesa.

“This program was launched only this year, with UAH 20 million allocated in the budget for this assistance. Additionally, with payments from the state, we can compensate for prosthetic services worth about UAH 2 million, but no more. This year, we have not allocated any money yet,” – Olena Kitayska said.

She noted that doctors, officials, and city council members will select those who can receive such assistance. Different circumstances will be taken into account.

Kitayska also added that there are several other programs in the city to support the military. The city allocates 16 thousand hryvnias each for rehabilitation and psychological assistance, and up to 25 thousand hryvnias for professional reorientation services.
