Occupiers not preparing for winter in left-bank Kherson region – Yurii Sobolevskyi

The issue of winter preparations is especially important in those communities of the occupied part of Kherson region that suffered from the enemy-caused terrorist attack at the Kakhovka HPP.

Yurii Sobolevskyi, First Deputy Head of Kherson Oblast Council, made this statement during a briefing at Media Center Ukraine – Ukrinform.

“We do not see the occupation administrations conducting systematic preparations for this season. Maybe that’s partly because they don’t expect it to be their problem, that they’ll get out of there soon. But now it causes so much concern, because in fact there is a lot of work to be done in the communities that were primarily affected by the russian terrorist attack on the Kakhovka HPP. Regarding the state of the infrastructure, the situation is actually simpler here than what we have in the liberated territory, because the defense forces did not and are not firing on critical infrastructure, so there is no such damage as we have at our facilities in the liberated territory.” – he noted.
