Occupiers in Kherson region demand bribes from farmers for selling grain

In addition to the fact that the russians in the occupied part of Kherson region steal or buy and export Ukrainian grain for next to nothing, they now demand that farmers pay a so-called tax of 10-15% for the sale of grain and other products.

Oleksandr Tolokonnikov, Spokesman for the Kherson Oblast Military Administration, made this statement during a briefing at Media Center Ukraine – Ukrinform.

“They are still demanding this unofficial “bribe” tax. A farmer must deduct 10-15% when he sells grain and other products. And I think that they will not stop there, and (the tax – Ed.) will reach 50%. Because there is no one to stop them, the law enforcement system does not work, there is only the (russian – Ed.) military, who are also up for any kind of terrorism and theft,” said Oleksandr Tolokonnikov.
