Occupiers are trying to intimidate people of Zaporizhia region — Ivan Fedorov

As a form of intimidation, the occupiers hold daily training on the outskirts of Melitopol, near Molochnyi Lyman estuary, close to Mykhailivka town, Ivan Fedorov, Mayor of Melitopol said.

“From early in the morning until late at night, and sometimes even at night, they hold such training in order to truly scare the population. Their general approach is that they are trying to turn our residents into beggars who have nothing to live on, so they stand in queues for both material aid and food. And on the other hand, they are trying to intimidate residents so that they will simply be afraid to leave their homes,” — Ivan Fedorov noted.

In addition, he pointed out that “simultaneously, the russists go door to door and conduct inventory of property, apartments, houses in order to somewhat ostentatiously give this property away, one by one, to those collaborators who have agreed to cooperate with them.”
