No accumulations of russian troops are observed on the border — Sumy Regional Military Administration

The Ukrainian borders are protected by both border guards and other units, so the February situation will not happen again.

Dmytro Zhyvytskyi, Head of Sumy Regional Military Administration, made this statement in Media Center Ukraine — Ukrinform

“The adequate engineering facilities are set up on the border, and both the first and second defense lines of the region are equipped. At the moment, we do not observe any additional accumulations of russian troops on the borders. We can see training of the mobilized servicemen near the borders, but no enemy attack groups are observed,” he said.

Dmytro Zhyvytskyi added that despite this, the enemy is shelling communities of the Sumy region using artillery and multiple launch rocket systems. However, they are not permanently located on the border: “These artillery divisions shell our territory and flee far into their country.”
