“Nikopol enterprises keep working despite the shelling, there is no question of evacuation,” Dnipropetrovsk Oblast Council

The russian occupiers are shelling Nikopol with Grad multiple rocket launchers and heavy artillery from occupied Enerhodar. The distance between the cities is about 7 kilometers. So far, 356 high-rise buildings and over a thousand detached houses have been destroyed in Nikopol. Before the war, about 120,000 people lived in Nikopol, more than 80,000 of them left.

Mykola Lukashuk, Head of Dnipropetrovsk Oblast Council, Deputy Chair of Dnipropetrovsk Oblast Defense Council made this statement at Media Center Ukraine — Ukrinform.

“But currently we see a situation where people leave the city at night, return during the day and work at enterprises that do not stop work and continue to pay wages. And despite the fact that the situation is difficult, there is no question of evacuation,” — he said.
