“Naftogaz’s technical default will not affect the Ukrainians if we save gas and increase its production,” Andrii Zakrevskyi
If Ukraine saves gas and continues to increase its production, the technical default recently announced by Naftogaz will not affect Ukrainians in any way. Andrii Zakrevskyi, Chair of the Management Board of the Ukrainian Oil & Gas Association, Director General of Newfolk Oil and Gas Consultancy Center spoke about it at a briefing at Media Center Ukraine.
“Over the last month, we had very positive news from Naftogaz. Two new wells, each with the production rate of 100,000 cubic meters of gas per day, have been launched. One of the wells has been repaired and it produces 250,000 cubic meters of gas per day. And these are millions of cubic meters from these three wells alone,” — Andrii Zakrevskyi said.
As reported, on July 26, Naftogaz announced a default on Eurobonds.
