More Than 200 Criminal Cases Have Been Initiated on the Facts of Collaboration, More Than 3,000 Cases Are Kept a Close Watch On — Head of Zaporizhia Oblast Military Administration

More than 200 criminal cases have been initiated on the facts of collaboration in Zaporizhia region, and a number of cases have already been decided. Oleksandr Starukh, Head of Zaporizhia Oblast Military Administration, made this report during the briefing in Media Center Ukraine — Ukrinform.

“More than 200 criminal cases have been initiated on the facts of collaboration directly by officials of local self-government, executive authorities, the National Police, and so on. All these cases are being investigated, and after liberation of the territories, the appropriate measures will be taken for all these people,” Oleksandr Starukh said.

Head of Zaporizhia Oblast Military Administration added that law enforcement agencies are keeping a close watch on more than 3,000 such cases.

“In total, more than 3,000 such cases are under control. Persons who participated in the organization of so-called “referendums”, who participate in various events and hold relevant positions in self-government bodies, executive authorities, and so on. Everyone is closely watched by our agencies. Anyone who thinks that someone does not see something is very sorely mistaken. The Prosecutor’s Office and the Security Service of Ukraine are working. Several dozen cases are in courts. Judgements have already been passed to convict a certain scope of persons, whose collaboration activities are quite unambiguous,” Oleksandr Starukh said.
