On Monday, July 31, the enemy launched a missile attack on Kryvyi Rih, Dnipropetrovsk region. There are already reports on about 80 injured and 6 dead. One of the missiles, presumably Iskander, hit a residential building, in which nearly 70 apartments were destroyed and damaged.
Mykola Lukashuk, Head of Dnipropetrovsk Oblast Council, made this statement during a briefing at Media Center Ukraine – Ukrinform.
“Preliminarily, it is an Iskander ballistic missile. One of the missiles hit a residential building. There is a big hole in it, 32 apartments are effectively destroyed, they are no more, they evaporated in a missile strike. 37 apartments were badly damaged. The city authorities fully provided for the people, but only 5 families said that they needed to be resettled somewhere, all the others are staying with relatives and friends,” he explained.
Mykola Lukashuk noted that the building will be examined. However, it is likely that it will not be possible to rebuild it.
“But the official statement on this matter will come from the Kryvyi Rih City Council after all instrumental examinations of this building have been carried out,” said the Head of Dnipropetrovsk Oblast Council.
In addition, he noted that the rocket also hit an educational institution in the center of the city, one of its buildings was completely destroyed.
