Military surgeons perform complex surgery that has no analogs in world — Defense Ministry

This statement was made by Deputy Defense Minister of Ukraine Hanna Maliar at a briefing at Media Center Ukraine — Ukrinform.

“Last week, for the first time in Ukraine, a modern operation was performed at the mobile hospital of the Armed Forces of Ukraine — the removal of a kidney with a gunshot wound and organ damage. Two such operations have already been performed at the mobile hospital and the lives of soldiers have been saved. Thanks to the professionalism of military surgeons, patients are already walking around the ward. Such operations have no analogs in the world,” — she said.

At the same time, Hanna Maliar stressed that there is still a long stage of the fight for freedom ahead.

“Ukraine will fight until a complete victory and the return of its borders. And to save face putin must pull out of our territories. The aggressor exerts intense fire along the entire line of contact and deep into our territories, the situation remains difficult and shows signs of further escalation. The enemy has involved all forces and means to capture our territory and surround our troops. We have a difficult and long stage of struggle ahead of us,” — Deputy Defense Minister said.
