‘Meat assaults’ continue: enemy trying to attack Defense Forces without support of armored vehicles on left bank of Kherson region

The russian occupiers on the left bank of Kherson region have to operate under a commander’s embargo on the use of armored vehicles. That is why they continue with ‘meat assaults’ in the sector. At the same time, Ukrainian defenders keep fighting and consolidating their positions.

Natalia Humeniuk, Head of the United Coordinating Press Center of Security and Defense Forces of the South of Ukraine, made this statement during a briefing at Media Center Ukraine – Ukrinform.

“Currently, the situation remains quite difficult. And the presence of the Ukrainian flag there (in Krynky village on the left bank of Kherson region – Ed.) is one of the signals, in particular, to local residents that the Defense Forces of Ukraine continue to fight, continue to hold their positions, they haven’t gone anywhere, no matter how strongly the russian public (pages on social media – Ed.) might want them to. At the same time, we are continuing combat work and consolidating our positions. But the enemy never stops assaulting us. There were four attempts in the past 24 hours. It remains characteristic that (russian – Ed.) commander’s embargo on the use of armored vehicles is still in effect. In fact their meat assaults continue. Currently, we see that the enemy believes in the Defense Forces of Ukraine, and is trying to spare armored vehicles, because when ours comes, they will have something to fight with,” Natalia Humeniuk said.
