Kyiv city authorities not considering building shelters at public transport stops, urge to use existing infrastructure

Mykola Povoroznyk, First Deputy Head of Kyiv City State Administration made this statement at Media Center Ukraine — Ukrinform.

“Shelters at public transport stops is just an idea. Why build a shelter if you can use the existing infrastructure and just go down into the underground passage? These are very serious structures designed for 20-50 people. Moreover, there are no state standards for their construction. Very often, people neglect the rules of personal safety and ignore air alerts,” — he said.
