It is essential for us that Finland, as a NATO member, supports Ukraine’s Alliance membership – Oleksandr Merezhko

Finland’s policy of supporting Ukraine will remain unchanged.

Oleksandr Merezhko, Head of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Foreign Policy and Interparliamentary Cooperation, expressed such a conviction during a briefing at Media Center Ukraine – Ukrinform commenting on the opposition election victory in Finland.

“I am confident that Finland’s policy remains unchanged, and the country will continue to support Ukraine. Especially after Finland has become an actual member of NATO, it is important that this country, as a member of the alliance, supports Ukraine’s accession to NATO,” Oleksandr Merezhko emphasized.
