International financial aid to Ukraine expected to decline in the future

According to the National Bank of Ukraine’s projections, the amount of international financial aid to Ukraine is expected to decline annually. While this year’s aid may reach USD 37 billion, the forecast indicates a decrease to USD 25 billion for the following year.

Vasyl Furman, Deputy Chairman of the NBU Board, made this statement during a briefing at Media Center Ukraine – Ukrinform.

“Even in terms of forecasts, for instance, we have USD 37 billion this year. Looking ahead to the next year, the figure will be smaller, with the NBU anticipating USD 25 billion, and a further decrease is expected in 2026. This is the baseline scenario,” he said.
