In one week, it will be warm in all homes of Kherson region

Currently, Khersonteploenergo has started to gradually supply heat in all the districts of Kherson, and all 37 boiler plants are being switched on as well. In a week, all homes in the region will be warm.

Oleksandr Tolokonnikov, Spokesman for the Kherson Oblast Military Administration, made this statement during a briefing at Media Center Ukraine – Ukrinform.

“Heat has already gradually started to be supplied to Kherson districts, thermal power stations are already fully supplying heat to the homes they cover. Khersonteploenergo is now gradually starting up all 37 boiler plants, including boiler plants on Ostriv (district – Ed.), which will also be started up in the near future. In a week, all homes will be warm, if there are no emergencies and the security situation allows,” he said.

Oleksandr Tolokonnikov also reported that work continues to provide for settlements cut from electricity and gas supply, in particular in the coastal areas. Firewood, briquettes and pellets are supplied to those towns.

In addition, he added, there are already 145 warming centers operating in Kherson region, 25 of them in Kherson itself.
