In 2022, We Managed to Block More Than 100 Youtube Channels That Disseminate russian Propaganda — Disinformation Countering Center of the National Security and Defense Council

The Disinformation Countering Center of the National Security and Defense Council identifies YouTube channels that spread russian disinformation and propaganda, and works upon their blocking. Maryna Vorotyntseva, Senior Analyst at the Center, told this during the briefing at the Media Center Ukraine — Ukrinform.

“The Disinformation Countering Center monitors all YouTube channels that disseminate russian propaganda and disinformation. Last year alone, we blocked more than 100 such channels, and deleted the entire content. We verify these channels, identify their administrators, and work with the Google management. I can’t say that this is about all requests, but when we give sufficient reasons and prepare an evidence base about this content, about what exactly is in this content, they block such channels,” Maryna Vorotyntseva said.
