“Helping Military and IDPs Are Two Core Lines of Work for Luhansk Oblast Military Administration,” Serhiy Haidai
Helping the Ukrainian military personnel is one of the core lines of work for the Luhansk Oblast Military Administration for the period of the temporary occupation of the Oblast. Serhiy Haidai, Head of the Luhansk Oblast Military Administration, stated this at his press briefing in Media Center Ukraine.
“We keep helping; we buy equipment and hand it over to them. We also repair equipment. It is what they are asking for, and we try to meet all the requests as soon as possible because we realize that we have to keep helping our forces while we still have some reserves,” Serhiy Haidai explained.
One more core line of work for the Luhansk Oblast Military Administration is to help people who have been forced to evacuate from the Oblast.
“The help is diverse. We are restoring medical aid in the communities. We are trying to provide sustained and stable assistance with humanitarian packages for those who need it. We will keep developing the work in education because the kids still need to enroll in universities or schools. We will help people with advice, for instance, about seeking the IDP status or, maybe, with some certificates,” Serhiy Haidai said.
According to him, the Luhansk Oblast Military Administration will try to open its humanitarian centers in various oblasts of Ukraine to help people from Luhansk.
“We have received a mobile office from the Ministry of Digital Transformation,” and it will also help us. We will try to open our humanitarian centers because, unfortunately, the people are scattered all over Ukraine, so they are not only in Khmelnytskyi, Zakarpattia, or Poltava Oblast. Our people are now in different oblasts of Ukraine, so we will gather them and try to keep them on an ongoing basis,” the Head of the Luhansk Oblast Military Administration said.
