Heating season starts in Mykolaiv; 100% of broken windows boarded up, all roofs sealed to prevent leaks — Sienkevych

The heating season has started in Mykolaiv, 100% of broken windows have already been boarded up and roofs damaged by shelling have been sealed to prevent leaking. Oleksandr Sienkevych, Mayor of Mykolaiv made this statement at a briefing at Media Center Ukraine — Ukrinform.

“244 roofs in houses were broken, we have already repaired a little more than a half, in any case, all are protected from leaks. We closed some of the roofs for major repairs in the spring. We boarded up 100% of broken windows using OSB boards and foam. We do not have enough glass. Apparently, it is not available anywhere in Ukraine either. Today we launched the heating season in all houses,” — Sienkevych said.
