General Staff Stated That russians Were Strengthening Their Positions in Kherson Oblast to Force Ukraine’s Armed Forces to Take on the Defensive

Oleksii Hromov, Deputy Head of the Main Operations Directorate of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, stated this fact at Media Center Ukraine — Ukrinform.

“The perceptible strengthening of the foe positions in the occupied territories has been ongoing. A lot of weapons and military equipment were concentrated in Kherson Oblast’s northeast. We can’t rule out attempts by the foe to undertake assault into the depth of our defensive positions to make Ukraine’s Armed Forces stop expanding its bridgehead and revert to the defense.

According to a separate set of reports, the chechen national guard units are deployed on the Dnieper’s left bank; allegedly, they were commanded to prevent the russian forces from retreating from the Dnieper’s right bank in Kherson Oblast.
