French embassy will continue working in Ukraine — Ambassador
H.E. Etienne de Poncins, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of France to Ukraine, informed during a briefing at Ukraine Media Center that France did not plan to evacuate its diplomats and that the embassy would continue working in Lviv.
According to H.E. de Poncins, diplomats and his government will continue to support Ukraine in the fight against the russian aggression.
More generally, ambassadors of several countries, including France, Lithuania, Vietnam, and many other states are currently working from Lviv.
Earlier, the Prime Minister of Slovenia Janez Janša informed that, following the embassy staff’s request, his country was returning its diplomatic mission to Kyiv.
