Five international organizations ready to pay financial aid to Ukrainians — Social Policy Ministry

This statement was made by Deputy Minister of Social Policy of Ukraine for Digital Development, Digital Transformation and Digitization, Kostiantyn Koshelenko at a briefing at Media Center Ukraine — Ukrinform.

“The citizens of Ukraine receive full social security benefits. As for the additional payments, it is clear that they were not large even before the war. Therefore, we work with international institutions that have expressed their readiness to help Ukrainians with monetary payments. We currently have 5 memoranda with international organizations. They will also pay assistance to internally displaced persons. In addition, a government decision has been made to allow these benefits to be paid to those in the occupied or already liberated cities. The decision on such payments will be made by an international institution,” — Kostiantyn Koshelenko said.

The Deputy Minister of Social Policy of Ukraine for Digital Development, Digital Transformation and Digitization added that a lot of work is being done inside the ministry to ensure the social system is stable and secure, so that citizens could receive social benefits through both applications and post offices.

“It was not easy to do during the war. In the early days of russia’s full-scale aggression, we moved our servers and combined certain functions. This is the work that is not visible, but which is tangible.”
