Farmers of Kherson region need state support, because their property was destroyed by the enemy, the fields were mined, and this year’s sowing campaign will be difficult

“It (the sowing campaign – Ed.) will be very difficult for Kherson region this year,” — Yurii Sobolevskyi, First Deputy Head of Kherson Oblast Council said.

He noted out that not all de-occupied territories have been checked for mines and unexploded ordnance, which is a very big risk for people working on the land. In addition, the russian aggressors looted everything they could. They stole agricultural equipment, production lines for processing agricultural products. The physical infrastructure has essentially been destroyed, Sobolevskyi pointed out and added that it will take time and support from the state to restore it.
