Even Hungarian representatives agree on imposing russian oil ban — MP Kira Rudik

Sanctions on russian oil will be imposed, and even Hungary’s representatives agreed with this ban at the World Economic Forum in Davos. Member of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Kira Rudyk, who had visited the Forum, made this statement at a briefing at Media Center Ukraine.

“Another issue is the price to be set by Hungary or Slovakia. But there will be oil sanctions. And sanctions on gas as well. Because there is nowhere to retreat. Everyone understands that the stakes are high. To give in to putin now is to show him what (he is doing) is allowed. We know how dictators react to opponents’ going a little soft. And if the civilized world goes soft, it will be unrealistic to return even to the point that we have now,” — Kira Rudyk said.
