Enemy hitting Kherson region with guided aerial bombs increasingly more often

In recent weeks, the number of enemy attacks on Kherson region has increased significantly. In addition to the use of artillery, mortar systems, and MLRS, the occupiers increasingly more often drop guided aerial bombs on the region.

Yurii Sobolevskyi, First Deputy Head of Kherson Oblast Council, made this statement during a briefing at Media Center Ukraine – Ukrinform.

“The enemy uses artillery systems, MLRS, mortar systems and drops explosives from drones. And unfortunately, they are using guided aerial bombs, i.e. mainly their FAB-500, increasingly more often. These are heavy, relatively guided aerial bombs, and now the number of cases of the enemy’s using these bombs, unfortunately, has increased significantly. Moreover, they did not use to attack Kherson with this weapon before. As far as I remember, there were no records of them using guided aerial bombs on Korabel district. Now, unfortunately, there are such cases. The incidents of usage of these weapons have increased in Beryslav district, in Beryslav town itself and in other settlements,” Yurii Sobolevskyi noted.
