Electrical equipment available under 0% loans for the population: Economy Ministry explains program details

In Ukraine, citizens can now take out 0% loans for the purchase of solar panels and electricity storing equipment.

Nadiya Bihun, Deputy Minister of Economy of Ukraine made this statement during a briefing at Media Center Ukraine.

“Under this program, household owners can take out a loan for solar panels and electricity storing equipment. This loan is really at 0%, the state compensates the banks for the difference between the market rate and zero, respectively, it is compensated from the funds we have in the “5-7-9″ program with a 10-year lending term. This means that it is possible to extend this loan for a sufficiently long period, and this accordingly reduces the burden on the person who takes out the loan, that is, it can be repaid in small installments,” she said.

Nadiya Bihun pointed out that the maximum sum of money covered by such a loan today is UAH 480,000. And currently, the largest state banks and some private banks have already begun issuing such loans to citizens.
