Educational institutions of Sumy go on early vacations

After the recent russian missile attack, power lines were damaged in Sumy and there is no electricity supply. The school administration and local authorities decided to introduce early vacations.

Andrii Vitrenko, First Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine, made this statement in Media Center Ukraine — Ukrinform.

“The Ministry of Education and Science does not object to such decisions made in Sumy or other regions absolutely. The schoolchildren’s and teachers’ safety is of the most importance for us,” he said.

According to Andrii Vitrenko, each school in all regions will have vacations in accordance with decisions made by the educational process founders.
