Drawing of finalists of National Selection for Eurovision Song Contest 2023 takes place at Media Center Ukraine — Ukrinform

In May 2022, Ukraine won the Eurovision Song Contest 2022. Next year, the song contest will be held on behalf of Ukraine in Liverpool. On December 1, Media Center Ukraine — Ukrinform hosted the presentation of songs and the drawing of finalists for the National Selection for the Eurovision Song Contest 2023.

“Although Eurovision 2023 will be held in Liverpool, it will be held with Ukraine in heart and on behalf of Ukraine. Ukraine demonstrates indomitability and strength on all fronts, including music. And the way in which our voice will be heard on the big international stage is very important. Eurovision, as one of the largest song contests in the world and particularly in Europe, is an important platform for the representation of Ukraine. That is why it is very important to hold the National Selection this year. This year, Ukraine will be the first among all the countries participating in Eurovision to hold the National Selection. We will set a certain bar, albeit in extraordinary, exceptional circumstances,” — Oksana Skybinska, Head of the Ukrainian Delegation to Eurovision said.

During the drawing, each of the ten finalists was given a number from 1 to 10, according to which they will perform in the finals of the National Selection, namely:

Moisei — 1

OY Sound System — 2

DEMCHUK — 3

Jerry Heil — 4

FIINKA — 5

KRUTЬ — 6

Tember Blanche — 7

Angelina — 8
