Debris of missiles shot down by Ukraine can fly over 10 km and fall in other countries, so the enemy provokes and launches them closer to the border — Ihnat

On February 10, two Russian Kalibr missiles were spotted over Romania. Iurii Ihnat, Speaker of the Air Forces Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, commented on the incident during a briefing at the Media Center Ukraine — Ukrinform.

“The occupiers are trying to provoke by launching missiles along the very border with NATO member states: I mean Poland as well, when they attack from Belarus. It is absolutely clear this was done to test our air defense system. It  goes without saying that we will defend ourselves, our citizens, critical infrastructure facilities and will hit these missiles. And the consequences of such work, i.e., missile debris, can fly another 10 kilometers or even more, falling on the territory of neighboring states. The occupiers are well aware of this and deliberately provoke such actions. We witness another cynical image of the Russian leadership, which conducts such provocations,” Ihnat said.
