“The Master and Margarita” by Mikhail Bulgakov in Ukrainian translation was bought 9 times better than the Russian-language original. This is evidenced by statistics for 2021,” Oleksandr Krasovytskyy, Director of Folio publishers made this statement during a briefing at Media Center Ukraine — Ukrinform.

“Here we can say about other factors, for example, that other publications in russian existed, but there were no other publications in Ukrainian. But the trend is clear: all books that are or were in the school curriculum are read mostly by young people, and young people read in Ukrainian,” Oleksandr Krasovytskyy said.
