Press briefing: “Supporting Ukraine’s Cultural and Creative Sectors: EU’s Commitment through Mechanisms and Opportunities under Creative Europe Programme “

Why is it interesting?
At the press briefing, spokespeople from the winning organizations of 2022 open call “Support to Ukrainian displaced people and the Ukrainian Cultural and Creative Sectors” will address the media, alongside a representative from the National Bureau of the EU’s Creative Europe programme in Ukraine.

For reference:
“Creative Europe”, a European Union initiative, focuses on bolstering the cultural, creative, and audiovisual sectors. Its mission is to safeguard, cultivate, and showcase European cultural and linguistic diversity and heritage, while also enhancing the competitiveness and economic prowess of cultural and creative sectors, including those in the audiovisual realm. Ukraine became a part of the program in 2016, enabling Ukrainian entities to access grant funding across over 30 diverse competitions. The program’s total European budget for 2021-2027 stands at 2.44 billion euros, with operations spanning 40 countries.
