Why is it interesting?
Since November 6, Polish truckers have been blocking Ukrainian carriers at three Polish-Ukrainian border checkpoints: Hrebenne-Rava-Ruska, Korczowa-Krakivets, and Dorohusk-Yahodyn.

On November 23, it became known that the blockade was extended to the Medyka-Shehyni border crossing.

In addition, starting from December 1, Slovak road haulers have set to block truck traffic through the Vysne Nemecke crossing, opposite the Ukrainian city of Uzhhorod.

Why is it interesting?
The Ukrainian Book Institute is organizing the National Reading Week for the third time, aiming to bring Ukrainian people together by making reading a daily life practice.

This year’s event will take place from December 4 to 10. The campaign slogan is “To Be Our Authentic Selves,” and the focus is on the figure of Mykola Khvylovy, whose anniversary Ukrainians celebrate in December this year.
