“Air Defense Force of the National Guard of Ukraine Destroyed 17 Aircraft Targets after russia’s All-out Invasion Had Begun”

Oleksii Nadtochyi, head of the Operations Office of the Main Directorate of the National Guard of Ukraine, made this statement during his briefing at Media Center Ukraine — Ukrinform.

“Air defense units of the National Guard of Ukraine downed 17 aircraft targets after the all-out hostilities had started. They include six Sukhoy Su-25 airplanes, eight helicopters, and three UAV drones. Two Sukhoy Su-25 jets were destroyed by one conscript soldier using the Igla MANPAD system.

Oleksii Nadtochyi also added that air force units of the National Guard flew over 140 air recon missions.
Furthermore, NGU’s recon units detected 1,310 enemy targets.
