After each explosion, russists search houses, imprison people for having Ukrainian symbols or weapons — Melitopol Mayor

After suffering losses of their personnel and equipment, the russists carry out filtration measures in every settlement in Melitopol region. Ivan Fedorov, Mayor of Melitopol made this statement at a briefing at Media Center Ukraine — Ukrinform.

“After each explosion in each settlement, the russists carry out total filtration and completely ransack each house. For example, in Mykhailivka, after their formations were destroyed twice in two days, they went to every house, searched every house. And if they found any Ukrainian symbols or weapons, even hunting ones, then these people were taken for questioning, taken captive en masse. This trend continues. Today, they use prisoners mostly to take part in digging trenches, which they are building around Melitopol today to form their defense line,” — Fedorov said.
