“About 90-95% of military equipment repairs are carried out by our employees directly on the front line,” Ukroboronprom Spokeswoman

The absolute majority of military equipment repairs take place directly at the front line, but some equipment needs to be transported to production sites. Nataliya Sad, Spokeswoman of Ukroboronprom State Concern, made this statement at a briefing at Media Center Ukraine — Ukrinform.

“For the most part, mobile repair crews, consisting of employees of our enterprises, arrive at the contact line in coordination with the military of certain units. They inspect cars and repair them right there. As our employees explained to me, the record was six cars in a day. We’re talking about a light or medium damage that they were able to deal with right then and there. It is convenient, as the equipment does not need to be transported, it very quickly returns to the unit in operational condition. If the car is heavy, tow trucks get it to the production site, and there they continue to work with it,” — Sad said.
