About 4,500 residential buildings of Chernihiv region require restoration – Viacheslav Chaus 

During the past year and this year, more than 3,500 buildings were restored in Chernihiv oblast. However, about 4,500 residential buildings still need to be repaired.

Viacheslav Chaus, Head of Chernihiv Oblast Military Administration, made this statement during a briefing at Media Center Ukraine – Ukrinform.

“4,500 is the number that still needs to be restored. A lot of people have now applied for eRecovery service. These are small and medium repairs, where the state pays for damaged property. And the first applications for compensation certificates from people whose houses were completely destroyed have already begun coming in, so they could purchase a new home,” he said.

According to Viacheslav Chaus, the modular housing program is also underway today, including modular towns that have been installed, as well as individual modular houses.
