A 80-year-old woman is killed because of russian shelling in Kherson region

A 69-year-old woman was also injured in the same village. This was reported by Oleksandr Tolokonnikov, spokesman for the Kherson regional military administration, at a briefing at the Media Center Ukraine – Odesa. Also administrative buildings in Kherson itself were damaged by russian artillery.

“On July 14th, russians shelled the liberated Kherson region 40 times, firing about 200 shells. They fired from all types of weapons – tanks, artillery, and aircraft. Instead of eliminating the consequences of the terrorist attack on the Kakhovka hydroelectric power station, which they committed, they continue to kill people, shelling the places where people need help the most,”– the official said.

Tolokonnikov noted that on July 15th, russians shelled the village of Zelenivka in the liberated Kherson region, killing an 80-year-old woman and injuring a 69-year-old woman, and damaging administrative buildings.

He added that mobile shelters continue to be installed in the city and region – there are already 90 of them in Kherson and about 120 in the region, but now “all efforts are aimed at eliminating the consequences of the Kakhovka hydroelectric power plant dam explosion.”
