5,400 people took part in the Russian “referendum” in the Kherson oblast – Head of the Kherson regional council Oleksandr Samoilenko

These are either residents of the temporarily occupied territories of the Kherson oblast, or actors who participated in the organized “carousel” from Crimea and other occupied territories, the official said during a briefing at the Media Center Ukraine — Odesa.

But in his opinion, not all those who voted in the “phantasmagoria” organized by the Russians are conscious collaborators.

“After all, we don’t know how a person voted. But those who deliberately organized it and counted the votes, I’m sure, should be 100% severely punished,” said the Head of the Kherson oblast Council, Oleksandr Samoilenko, during a briefing at the Media Center Ukraine — Odesa.

According to Samoilenko, almost 60% left the temporarily occupied territories of the Kherson region.

“We know the remaining 40%. There are no one about whom we do not know something,” added Samoilenko. He noted that, in his opinion, conscious collaborators, those who helped the invaders, those who were the first to run to get a Russian passport and re-register their enterprises, should be punished.
