38 children died during occupation of Kyiv region — Andrii Nebytov
38 children died when Kyiv region was occupied, and hostilities were taking place in the oblast.
Andrii Nebytov, Head of Kyiv region police, made this statement during a briefing at Media Center Ukraine — Ukrinform.
“Unfortunately, the deaths of 38 children have been confirmed. Of them, 10 are girls, aged from 6 months to 17 years old, and 28 are boys, aged from 1.7 to 17 years old,” he noted.
According to the Head of police of Kyiv region, 43 children were injured.
“During the occupation and active hostilities on the territory of Kyiv region, 43 children were injured, including 18 girls aged 1 to 17 years old and 25 boys aged 3 to 17 years old,” Andrii Nebytov added.
He also noted that as of today four children are considered missing, three of them from the same family.
