294 fatalities recorded from drowning on bodies of water, since the beginning of the year – SES

Since the start of the year, 294 fatalities have occurred on Ukraine’s waterways. This includes 19 children.

Oleksandr Khorunzhyy, a Press Officer of the State Emergency Service, provided this information during a briefing at the Media Center Ukraine – Ukrinform.

“Since the beginning of the year, 294 people have died on Ukrainian water bodies, including 19 children. SES rescuers have saved 131 people, including 9 children,” Khorunzhyy stated.
