Yevgen Korniychuk: Israelis increasingly recognize that we have a common enemy

Israelis clearly understand that the russian federation is a common enemy for both Ukraine and Israel.

Yevgen Korniychuk, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to Israel, made this statement during a briefing at Media Center Ukraine.

“And the more Israelis look at the course of events in Ukraine, Israel and Iran, at russia’s consultations with the terrorist groups, such as Hamas and Hezbollah and the trips of russian officials to Iran, the more they understand that there is a common axis of evil, a common enemy. It is not only Iran, but the russian federation as well. This is understood absolutely clearly by both ordinary citizens and the military. We have a slightly more complicated problem with the government, but I think that even if they don’t talk about it publicly, they clearly understand who is on whose side,” he said.
