“With ZNPP Shut Down, All Critical Facilities of the Power Plant Are Supplied with Power from the Ukrainian Grid,” Ukrenergo

 Volodymyr Kudrytskyi, CEO of Ukrenergo National Energy Company, stated this during his briefing at Media Center Ukraine — Ukrinform.

“Currently, the Zaporizhia Nuclear Power Plant is shut down. Its power units are in a condition of a cold shutdown. It has been done against the backdrop of restoration of the reliable power supply from the Ukrainian grid to cooling systems of both power units and nuclear fuel storage facilities on the ZNPP site. The Ukrainian grid supplies power to these critical facilities via its backbone power transmission lines,” Volodymyr Kudrytskyi said.
